[Wrath ofShadow ep. 6.2]

It was just alright.

While it is apparent that you spent time creating this movie, it's also apparent that you could have spent a little more. It's unpolished and there are quite a few things that could be improved to make it more enjoyable to watch.

-Sprite Animation
-Spelling (this is a big one, there were tons of spelling errors)
-Use punctuation! It makes text-based dialogue a lot more interesting.
-Storyline

As far as the storyline portion, you need to let us know a little bit more about what's going on. One of the characters said something to the effect of "I cleansed it in someway" and that was just too vague. If everything happens just "somehow", it's a lot less creative and a lot less interesting. Another instance where this happened was when Zero forced Okiname (sp?) out of his body. Just expand on those ideas a bit so we know what's going on.

Technical Issues:
The 'Play All' button does not work.
Putting in scrollable text (using buttons or, perhaps, the spacebar?) would add to the continuity a lot since the viewer could read the text at his or her own pace.

Entertaining

There are definitely some technical issues with this piece, but overall I was entertained. The jokes aren't as predictable as I would have expected with the way previous reviews were written, and some of the dialogue was actually pretty funny. But there were lip-synching errors, though they weren't extreme enough to ruin the movie.

One thing you need to keep in mind while watching it is that it's a spoof of a different series and, therefore, will not amount to anything more. I think some people expected way too much out of a parody on another flash collection.

All that being said, I would score this movie higher if it wasn't so geared toward getting the user to watch the series it spoofs. This movie seems almost like a commercial for the website it promotes, and that's generally an unpleasant overtone. Linking the website it references at the end once would be fine, but stating it at the start, end, and even including a LINK in the middle of the movie that you can click on is simply too much.

Again - entertaining, worth watching in my opinion, but feels like a commercial at times.

Interesting

This was an interesting animation, and especially will appeal to artistic minds because it shows the process he took in creating his character through several layers.
It lacked presentation, however, and after the final product is created the flash immediately loops back to the starting screen, giving the viewer no time to look at the end result.

I liked the music.

Awesome!

This entire thing was freaking sweet, and definitely going on my favorites. The grand finale by Alvin Earthworm was amazing!

And to the guy below me who said "Mediocre", someone needs to direct him to the pixar animated films because this is NEWGROUNDS. These are FLASH VIDEOS not high budget animated movies. If there was anything wrong you saw with the movie, you should have offered constructive criticism rather than a completely useless negative comment.

[Super Mario bros Z ep 3 (old series)]

This is where the series really starts to shine.

This is the first episode that made me laugh out loud. Great references to Smash Bros, past Mario games, etc. This is also where it really starts to get interesting!

[Super Mario bros Z ep 6 (old series)]

Title says it all!

Everything we loved AND hated about Dragonball Z in a Super Mario context. The characters are amazing and the fight scenes were surprisingly entertaining! Just like DBZ, however, there is a ton of talking.

I didn't mind the talking so much, but it did take away from the action at points. Overall VERY well done, however. If you enjoyed DBZ, you're sure to enjoy this even more. (Also GREAT job on the comic relief! I laughed a lot)

Simply awesome.

The music was simple and the concept was simpler, but together they fit perfectly. Simple joke, simple punchline. And honestly, I watched it twice just to hear the soundtrack again. Great job!
